Strange Nature
This was an installation art project completed November, 2006. It was shown in the Art and Music complex of New College of Florida early that month. My intent with this video is to show what we generally think of nature as something that is actually strange and unexpected. One of the reactions from the a member of the audience was that it made him look at the everyday landscape with more interest than he had before. We often tend to conceptualize our environment, especially what we haven't ever seen and what we experience everyday. In reality, our environment is an abundant resource of surprise, if we can look at it from that perspective!

If you have enough time and patience, view at least the Med-Res version. It is a significant jump in quality from the lo-res, both in sound and video. Also: The soundtrack becomes audible after 12 seconds!
